Announcing the new California Right to Life intern program!

This fall, we are implementing a new persuasion strategy that our friends at Protect Life Michigan first tested last year. After saturating a target community with layered messaging over the summer, starting with digital ads and progressing to public outreach, Protect Life Michigan found that they had decreased the community’s support for legal abortion by eight percentage points. 

We will follow a similar model and prepare our target community for our in-person advocacy with ads and by mailing magazines to every household in its zip codes. We will follow up with street activism and door to door conversations to change hearts and minds for good. 

If we can make a city pro-life, we can make a state pro-life.

We need foot soldiers to carry out this ambitious new strategy, so California Right to Life is also launching an intern program to equip college-age Christians to engage the culture and defend the rights and dignity of unborn children. 

We will give our interns extensive training, both in the classroom and in the field, to become effective ambassadors for the unborn. They will practice pro-life apologetics, sidewalk counseling, organizing events, and more. 

We are launching this program trusting that, if God wants this project to succeed, He will send the laborers. 

Please spread the word to any young people you know who are taking a gap year before or during college or who want to give some time to God after graduating. Or do you know anyone who discerned out of the seminary and is still figuring out his next steps?

WHO: Christians age 18-25

WHAT: An internship to master the pro-life case and employ new strategies to cause a shift in the culture.

Commitment to live a virtuous life in accord with Biblical morality.

Commitment to the pro-life movement and the mission of California Right to Life.

Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.

A positive attitude and willingness to work productively with others as a team.
